About the position

Senior Backend Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer with expert-level skills and extensive experience in Python, Django/Flask, PostgreSQL, SQL, AWS (S3, EC2, SQS, Kafka, Message Q, Redis). The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in Terraform and Open Search. Additionally, the candidate should possess a deep understanding of microservices architectures and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Develop and maintain backend services, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy robust solutions.

·      Optimize existing codebase for efficiency and scalability.

·      Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

·      Mentor and manage Mid and Junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

·      Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to deliver high-quality features.

·      Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues.

·      Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

·      Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

·      Expert-level proficiency in Python, Django/Flask, Postgres, SQL, AWS (S3, EC2, SQS, Kafka, Message Q, Redis).

·      Proficiency in Terraform and Open Search is a plus.

·      Strong understanding of microservices architectures and distributed systems.

·      Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·      Experience in mentoring and managing Mid or Junior developers.

·      Passionate about software development and a strong desire to stay updated with the latest industry trends.
