Objetivo del puesto:

Es responsable del diseño técnico y ejecución de proyectos de desarrollo de las aplicaciones del portafolio, colaborando con diferentes equipos de trabajo y áreas de negocio.

Principales funciones:

• Diseñar, construir y mantener aplicaciones móviles avanzadas para la plataforma Android y/o iOS.
• Participar en la planeación y el seguimiento de proyectos de desarrollo multifuncionales asegurando el cumplimiento de los objetivos establecidos. 
• Asegurar la calidad en los entregables del resto del equipo de desarrollo, contribuyendo al pase limpio a ambientes productivos. 
• Colaborar con diferentes áreas para generar diseños de soluciones seguras, escalables y confiables. 
• Diagnosticar y solucionar los cuellos de botella de las aplicaciones para mejorar el rendimiento.
• Colaborar con el equipo de soporte de nivel 3 en el análisis de causa raíz y resolución de fallas recurrentes.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Flutter Developer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and deployment of our cross-platform application. As well as architecting, designing, developing, and deploying new features and functionality for the mobile application. You will be working as part of a cross-functional, agile team to ensure quality development practices are defined and implemented and may be asked to help lead other developers on your team. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of Flutter & Dart full-time mobile development experience with 2+ years of mobile development (Swift, Kotlin, C#, Java, Objective–C). (4 year minimum in sum)

• Great understanding of mobile networking, implementing different libraries and technologies such as RESTful APIs and it is nice to have GraphQL understanding, capacity to adapt.

• Proficient understanding of code versioning (i.e., Git), CI/CD platforms.

• Vast experience working with delegation patterns, Single Responsibility, code reusability among other design principles, patterns, and best practices.

• Great expertise in building UI interfaces, be able to follow a clearly defined architecture (like CLEAN architecture) already implemented, to improve, maintain and build new features.

• Must to know excellent understanding of Riverpod as a state management solution.

• Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical requirements

• Teamwork capabilities

• Great debugging skills, understanding how to use Flutter debugging tools to measure memory usage, UI, and objects inside debugging console in order to understand objects lifecycle.

• Experience with Xcode and Android Studio to build new app releases.

• Experience with Flutter’s widgets lifecycle.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience developing applications with Bluetooth connectivity.

• Experience developing native iOS/Android applications to bridge Flutter with native code

• Experience working in fast paced, quickly changing companies

• Experience working with local storage libraries (such as Hive, SQLite, IsarDB)

• Microsoft B2C implementations and Authentication libraries such as JWT.

• Clean Architecture

• Experience profiling applications to find key areas of performance improvement.

• Expertise in Google Play console and Appstore Connect for deploying and configuring apps.

Responsibilities

● Plan and grow our android architecture over the next 3-5 years to impact performance, scalability and design of features

● Take full ownership of the quality and usability of the code you design: Performs code reviews, identifies and fixes bugs, creates automated tests, and monitor performance of the Skin and Wound application

● Actively participates in technical design and planning discussions while collaborating closely with Product Managers, Quality Assurance and DevOps

● Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Qualifications

● A minimum of 5+ years of Android development experience and an excellent command of engineering fundamentals with 3+ years of experience with Kotlin

● Experience working with RESTful APIs and writing networking level code

● Experience with Android NDK and CMake

● Experience with modern mobile application design patterns

● Experience writing well-tested code

● Must be highly motivated and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

● Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and exercises discretion in all business dealings

● Work collaboratively in a team environment but also function as a demonstrated self-starter with minimal supervision

Conoce las tendencias de la industria en metodologías de desarrollo, frameworks para desarrollo de aplicaciones web y Mobile. Propone e implementa interfaces sencillas y tienen una pasión por brindar una excelente experiencia del usuario. Tiene un conocimiento básico de programación en back-end y está dispuesto a aprender a ayudar a esta área a redactar APIs que le permitan crear un producto funcional. Colabora con el equipo de marketing y growth para la ejecución de iniciativas que optimicen los resultados de negocio.

Responsabilidades

• Participar continuamente en discusiones para mejorar el desempeño general del equipo y las metodologías de trabajo
• Colaborar con equipos multifuncionales de la compañía para definir hipótesis basadas en datos
• Asegurar que el código esté implementado usando buenas prácticas y estándares con el desarrollo de software
• Trabajar lado a lado con desarrolladores de back-end para entender y usar adecuadamente las APIs del sistema
• Implementar pruebas unitarias e integración y desarrollar herramientas automatizadas para las tareas diarias
• Implementar nuevas herramientas en la app que apoyen a la optimización de campañas y experiencias (analytics, pixeles de publicidad, experimentación, etc)
