Responsabilidades:

• Diseña y refuerza estándares de trabajo dentro del chapter.
• Gestiona personas, realizando la evaluación del desempeño de los integrantes de su chapter.
• Gestiona la motivación de las personas dentro del chapter.
• Define la estrategia de la evolución de su chapter y desarrolla las capacidades del mismo.
• Garantiza el cumplimiento de los lineamientos establecidos por los órganos de gobierno del banco.
• Realizar pruebas antes del lanzamiento del software para garantizar que este funcione sin problemas y satisfaga las necesidades del cliente.
• Revisar los requisitos, especificaciones y documentos de diseño técnico para obtener información y ayuden a realizar las pruebas de manera efectiva.
• Elaborar estrategia de pruebas y casos de prueba.
• Estimar, priorizar, planificar actividades de prueba (preparación de data, ejecutar, documentar resultados, etc.)
• Diseñar, desarrollar y ejecutar scripts de automatización.
• Identificar, registrar y asegurar que los defectos encontrados sean corregidos antes de entregar el software al cliente.
• Asegurar que los cambios que se implementan en el software no afecten la estabilidad operativa.

What we are looking for:

● 5 plus years of experience testing Experience

● 5 plus years automation coding experience with Kotlin or Java

● 3 Plus years e2e iOS/Android Native App and rest API automation experience

● Using data-driven testing to validate results

● Using tools and frameworks like Postman, SonarQube, Qase.io, Locust.io, Rest Assured.

● Debugging and troubleshooting device/platform compatibility problems leveraging Appium Studio and Charles Proxy

● Scrum/Agile methodology

● Strong e2e ios/android and rest API automation experience including setting up automation frameworks from scratch

● Strong communication skills

● Ability to create/write test plans and test cases

● Security best practices

● SQL and NoSQL

● Authentication and Security Testing

● Work independently and manage the testing efforts of assigned projects

● Working in a fast-paced startup environment

● Demonstrate strong testing mindset and the ability to problem solve complex issues

Position Overview:

As the Automation Engineering Manager, you'll head up a team of automation engineers, direct technical efforts, and partner with our Customer Experience team to ensure top-notch delivery and support for our customers' bots. With a strong technical background and a track record of leading and scaling teams, you'll be the driving force behind our engineering operations, budgeting, staffing, and support.

This is a key role within the organization, leading the automation engineering team, managing the group's day-to-day activities, reporting and managing team KPIs, and maintaining support level agreements across all our customers’ bots.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering and a proven track record of leading and scaling global engineering teams. You’ll define and lead technical implementation, code reviews, escalation to resolve issues that arise during build and support, and hands-on engineering to unblock your teams when needed. Responsibilities:

• Providing leadership and guidance to automation engineering team members
• Own the deployment, implementation, and support of automations to meet our customers’ needs while working with our Customer Experience team to deliver excellence
• Resolving technical and code-level obstacles in advance and as they arise- Expertise in tools used for software development: Python, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), containerized workloads, CI/CD, automated version control systems, software artifacts management tools, code quality, engineering standards, logging, and metrics
• Keep up-to-date on the latest automation/RPA technologies and how they can be used/deployed within the automation engineering organization
• Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with Customer Experience to recommend solutions and how to improve them
• Continually researching the current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed
• Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have
• Lead and coordinate response to escalations. Lead incident and root-cause analysis with calm and an eye toward service improvement

Requirements:

• 6+ years of technical engineering, including a proven track record of successfully managing and scaling technical teams
• Extensive automation engineering experience with design, delivery, and operational excellence with custom technical solutions
• Ruthless prioritization amongst competing priorities, operational excellence of our bots, and driving radical change within our organization
• An entrepreneurial mindset and determination to do whatever it takes to achieve your mission
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a talent for the precise articulation of hypotheses and outcomes
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline required, or eight years of equivalent work experience

Bonus Points:

• You have open-source/Python-based automation experience at a hyper-growth SaaS company
• Experience with automation, RPA, OCR, IaaS, PaaS, DevOps, and product engineering
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across the organization; strong technical and leadership skills; experience building and fostering strong working relationships

• 3 years of experience with web security technology
• 3 years of experience with software QA tools and processes
